When Does My Roof Need to Be Replaced?

Generally, there are some noticeable signs that will let you know that your roofing system is past its expiry date and ready for a Roof Replacement Malaga. Tiles over time will become porous, both concrete and more so terracotta roof tiles Which will actually completely disintegrate, concrete roof tiles can a lot of the time still be restored but if they have been left too long, they will become brittle, and a coat of paint won’t be enough to save them. Any monies spent would be put to much better use towards a full Malaga Roof Replacement as anything else would be a band-aid fix. Are There Benefits in Replacing My Roof?

When talking about the benefits of a Malaga Roof Replacement, there are a couple of things that really stick out.  A huge factor is the changes in technology in the modern-day as compared to over the past 100 or so years. Concrete roof tiles and metal roofing materials have come leaps and bounds. However in my personal opinion the clay/terracotta tiles although there is much more variety. I feel they have gone a few steps backward. Below we will talk about the benefits of a Roof Replacement Malaga as opposed to roof repairs or roof painting.

Metal Roof Replacement Malaga

Roof Replacement of tiles, either concrete or terracotta being converted to Colorbond or zincalume materials have become all the rage over the past couple of decades and it does have its benefits. Colorbond or Metal Roof Replacements give you a more lightweight material that is known for its resilience in extreme weather. There is a good argument for the thermal efficiency of Colorbond as opposed to its tile counterparts and a large range of insulated underlays to choose from which will only aid in this. A Metal Roof Replacement is a bit more of an initial outlay, but over the years when the maintenance costs are factored in the outcome would be roughly the same over the 10-year period. One thing to be wary of is the drastic weight difference and the potential implications that can have on the structure of your home.

Roof Tiles Replacement Malaga

With the range of tiles around today, there is something to suit everyone’s style. A Roof Replacement Malaga using a product of the same or similar weight is a much wiser move as the structure of your home has been designed specifically for this reason. I personally am not a huge fan of the new range of terracotta roof tiles, I don’t think they are made like they used to, they don’t have the structural integrity of the tiles of old, but concrete roof tiles are made strong and made to last, with a wide array of styles and several Australian manufacturers you are definitely not starved for choice. Most concrete roof tiles come with a minimum of 20 years warranty and with every Powerdrive Roof Replacement Malaga we use Bradford Thermal Plus sark underlay, this will provide a vapour gap and also aid in the roof’s thermal efficiency.

At Powerdrive Roof Replacement Malaga we do things a little bit differently, we will supply our client with a variety of roof cover options in a quote subject to site inspection which will outlay the process and the costings for each. If you the valued customer are happy with these costs, we will arrange for an on-site review and go over the finer details of the process. At this stage, we will generally bring out different samples of roof tile profiles and colour ranges. One thing Powerdrive Roof Replacement Malaga prides itself on, is that we do not use any pushy sales tactics, we want our customers to be happy and in control of the project from start to finish, after all, it is your home.
